A lowered truck on factory shocks rides badly and wears the shocks out early - the shock is running at the wrong point in its travel. Belltech Street Performance shocks are built with the shortened stroke and the valving a dropped truck actually needs.
Every part here lists its extended and compressed length, so if you are replacing a shock on an existing drop you can match the numbers rather than guess. If you are lowering the truck now, the matched shocks are already included in the complete kits.
